SULFIANI(MEET5)

            This is the fifth reflection I had done to write 4 reflection before. Seems like the last week,  I listened the podcast and I made a small group with my friends, they are Aslina, Dewi wulandari, Hasdiana sari. The podcast talked about Stupid Valentines Day. The first, I didn’t know why the tittle of the podcast is “Stupid Valentines Day” I confused and was curious what is the content of the conversation, directly I listened the podcast.

            The fifth meeting I enjoyed and was happy to join in the program because I had done to do it more times. So I felt this was just so so.

            Like usual, The problem of the program was the conversation very fast, so sometimes I didn’t listen carefully and could not  understand what they said, but after listening more times I could understand the topic of the podcast.

            After I listened the podcast, I tried to answer the questions by my self but the questions could not answer, so I shared with my friends till I got the answer of the question.

            At that time, the situation in the class room was calm and not noisy and I liked that. All of the students were busy to listen and answer of the question without disturbed other students. After we had done to answer all of the questions, the lecturer gave  the true answer and I matched with my answer before, and then I uploaded in nicenet.

            Actually this program is serious but enjoy and fun. If we want to be sure and study hard, this is good method to improve listening skill, not only just listening skill but also writing ability. Because the reflection, so the students must write down, and I hope this method can be used next time.

SULFIANI(MEET 4)

             This is the forth reflection, before I listened, we made a small grup with my friends, they were Aslina, Dewi wulandari, Hasdiana sari. The podcast talked about the internasional  muslim musician, Sami yusuf. When the host, Walid Darab interviewed. He talked that he is extremely busy now because he is working the second album, he says also music should be focus on message.

            The forth meeting, I enjoyed and was happy to join in this program because I had done it more times so I felt just so so.

            The problem of the program was the conversation very fast, especially this conversation the voice of speakers was unclearly. So, sometimes I didn’t listen carefully and could not  understand what they said.

            After I listened the podcast I tried to answer the questions and discussed with my friends. I could not answer that question, so I tried to listen the conversation again and again till I got the answer of the question.

            At that time, the situation in the class room was calm and not noisy and I liked that. All of the students was busy to listen and answer the question without disturbed the other students. After we had answered all of the questions, the lecturer gave  the true answer and I matched with my answer. After that, I uploaded in nicenet.

            Actually this is good method to improve my listening skill, not only just listening skill but also writing ability, because there is the reflection so the students must write down, I hope this method can used next time.

FATMA SARI -2ND MEETING-

Indonesia Actress and Model 

                 Coming late almost 30 minutes “what a shame!” I said to myself. I knocked the door, every eyes looked at me, happily Mr. Khaeruddin allowed me to join his class. Little bit confused I saw my phone still long until this downloading getting complete went to next planning I asked my friend to send me the podcast via bluetooth, useless it was same. I could not wait until the data moved to my phone or I will get nothing.

                So i decided to disturb my friend “big sorry for Andi suarni” and said let me join with you (one headset two heads). She is kindly person so i did  not need to talk much for make her sure with me. She replayed the podcast. I realized that almost people in this room would finish soon but I was left behind. “bad luck” i thought.

                My lecturer started to answer while it had not been finished all by me. Well it was totally my fault so could not answer it totally. Apprehending this podcast that this is news, it was fact, information will be gotten more than only new vocab. It was really useful. It was about Sandra Dewi “famous artist in Indonesia”  i was surprised she spoke Indonesia in this moment. While listening this podcast i spoke to my self someday people interviewed me by international language and give some word by using Bahasa seems like she did. Huk aamiin.

                About this method i still blank. If usually we were busy looking for pen and paper to note our answer, this time we competed to close with the modem. We need signal to send our answer and it will be seen by all people.

FATMA SARI -1ST MEETING-

                The First Muslim Contestant of Master Chef

                This is the first day we met with the Ph.D. candidate who will taught us about listening. I was little bit nervous to accept some materials, fortunately previous lecturer was there to accompany us while we were studying. This class named is virtual even thought we did not attend in the classroom we can carry out our assignment. It was difficult to enjoy this program at first because there are some requirement that we had to do.

                We had to register at first then download the material and we needed a long time to pass it because the internet was so slow maybe because there were a lot of students who used it so we could not finish our task in that day.

                I collected this task in the next meeting before my lecturer enter to the class. I was the last student who collected. It was so hard to do this assignment it was not about the material more over i was in underpressure remembered that all of my friends have finished.

                I was in hurry when i did it because of the time. I tried to hear it carefully and found the answer by my self. I felt so dissappointed when i knew that my hard work seemslike useless because i could see the variety of my friend’s answer when i opened the link. I though that it was so easy because students would finish this assignment without listen the podcast. Event after finishing to listen this podcast, my friend’s answer still stole my attention. So i can say that this wasn’t pure my job.

                I have no idea about this method. I am not really sure whether it is good way or not event I do not know it is efficient or not. Actually it was make me think that what is the different between the other way. Hopely it would be better next meeting

Stupid Valentines Day

Talking about my experience in attending e-listening class by using Nicenet, Podcast, and Blog. It’s about what I felt after learning and using them, exactly of the fifth episode.

My feeling when attending e-listening class of the fifth episode by using Nicenet, Podcast, and Blog, I was curious. I thought this class will make me bored and sleepy
I was very scared that I'll not get the important thing of the podcast, but when I listened it, actually this episode surprised me. I could get anything which the speaker spoke, I’m so happy when listening it in first time, eventhough I got confused when I tried to answer the questions and of course getting a new experience again.


The things went badly when I attend e-listening class by using Nicenet, Podcast, and Blog, one and only it's about the connection sometimes was low. And the things went well I’m so enjoyed because come about from the speaker spoke very well, so I could take the new experience again and got new vocabularies. I just needed to try to repeat for twice to get the topic conversation of the fifth episode.


Attending e-listening class is very useful for me, because with this e-learning class I can improve my knowledge about internet, and it's very efficient way to get progress in listening. I do enjoy this class because the speaker spoke very well and to use Nicenet, Podcast, and Blog not a difficult thing as like as in my mind.


This class make me would like to learn more English listening because English listening not only about material from lecture, but I can learn it by myself wherever and whenever that.


By this event, I can be conclude my experience in attending e-listening class by using Nicenet, Podcast, and Blog that I find the new learn, and get progress of my knowledge after I join in this class. Of course I have change my mindset about the uneffectiveness of this way in listening.

In another case I’m going to do differently ways in attending e-listening class.

Ulva Sri Handayani (meeting 5)

This is the fifth material for speaking especially in e-listening podcast. The title is Stupid Valentines Day. Like the last meeting, for this material we had to bring the earphone or head phone to heard the podcast, beside that absolutely we brought the laptop or smart phone to access internet to hear the podcast. We always did the e-listening in the room with my friends. But for this material we were broken to make small group also. There were four groups and there were four or five students each group.
First I came in classroom especially G1 building, and then we heard the podcast with our group. First I heard with my friends by smart phone and one of them sent me the podcast so I could it by my smart phone. After that when I heard the podcast many times to get the answer and did the assignment. Like the last meeting, we did answer the question by ourselves and after that we answer the question together so we can sent the answer to nicenet.
At the time, when I heard the podcast actually I got difficult and hot about the situation so i felt illfeel when I heard it. And then I heard the podcast carefully so I could get the main point and answered the questions. I must did for a long time and heard the podcast many times. Also when the part of speaker, he spoke fast and the record was noise so I must extra focus for it. Beside that i got difficult to answer 2 numbers and when I wanted to send my task suddenly I got bad network so I must wait until I got good network to send my assignment.
In the other hand, I could solve the problem to hear the podcast, although I got difficult to did the assignment comfortably. Actually I felt happy to study with this method because we just prepare the smart phone and earphone to access it even thought this method was new for us and as we know that we always brought it every day so we didn’t get difficult to do it. After that for the lecturer can prepare the WiFi from campus because if we used the network from the net which always we used, sometimes got bad network and made us bored. And for the next meeting I hope I can do the assignment well and on time. And always study listening by using e-listening to train the hearing and can understand if I find new vocabularies.

Stupid Valentines Day

This is my fifth reflection, about Stupid Valentines Day. The speaker named it that because he thinks the marketing machine behind the "Valentine Day industrial complex" is doing an absolutely cunning job at hiding the facts.

Actualy, before I came to the classroom, I have listened about the material and answered the question in nicenet. I felt in the classroom very calm, all my friend focus to the material on each headset and their laptop. On this fifth meeting, I was in a group with Aldi Rinaldi, Asgar Susanto and Naswar.

Prior E-listening, I gived the material to my friends (Andi Rehasni and Heriana) and Naswar, he forgot to bring his headset, so he borrow my headset. During the listening the material I felt relaxed and I see my friend have a problem with his laptop, his laptop inconnected to the network, so I am copy the material and the question for him. After listening and answering all the questions, I felt more relaxed and help my friends sends his work.

When listening, I see my friends very focused with the material but there are also some my friends, laughed with my another friends, chit-chat, occasionally play their mobile-phone and sent their fourth reflection.

There are so many experience that I have in this class. I feel, this virtual class practice speaking skill too. About reflection, I feel with this reflection I can practice my writing skill. I think it is a best method for a personal person. He can do the question anywhere he want. But it would be a problem to the comunal person. I would be worry if he becomes lazy.

Dian Pertiwi (Meeting 5)

STUPID VALENTINE’S DAY

This is the fifth reflection by using Nicenet, Podcast and Blog. This episode talk about Stupid Valentine’s Day. As usually, before heard the podcast we must log-in in nicenet and make a small group. But, as I recall, I was always join with Eva Alfaena, Andi Rehasni and Heriana. Actually I am bored, but together with them make me cozy and enjoyed.

Before heard the podcast, I spoke with Andi Rehasni because she did not have a headset and I recommend to borrow. When I want to heard the podcast, I don’t have the material. I have tried to download the material but always failed. So, I asked for the material  to Ridwan Hamzah, but failed too. Forcefully, I heard the podcast with Andi Rehasni. I am quite satisfied after heard the podcast because the sound is good not the same as the fourth episode. So is not difficult to answer the question.

The things went badly about the experience, after finished log-in in nicenet I am shock because more question intead of previous meetings. And the other problem, went I want to get the podcast always failed. Seriously, it is make me bad mood and lazy to continue the lesson. But, in spite of all problems, I am quite happy because the network is good, so nothing problem when I want to send the answer.

For this meeting,  I think the situation in the classroom fairly quite. My classmate try to heard seriously, although the weather is so hot, but it was not to intrusive. I can be concluded for this meeting, however much of your problem still must be endured. Never tired to try and learn.

With this method I hope I can be better, especially for listening. And the future this method can continue to be use and developed. 

Sukma (Meeting 4)

Assalamualaikum Warohmatullahi Wabarokatuh...

Hello... Every body… This is the fourth meeting  for  learning in e-listening class. Especial for the fourth meeting , the title of the audio was about “International Musician. He is Samy Yusuf. ” My experience before I listened and learned the audio  in the classroom, firstly the lecturer broke us into many groups and the members of  my group were Surianti and Ulfa Sry Handayani. When I listened the audioI felt r ileks because I had enjoyed to listen the audio. And than, after I listened  and learned  it I felt  happy because I could  answer the podcast which difficult for me and Alhamdulillah I could finish and answered the podcast. After that, I posted my answers on the blog English Education departement 3(three). When I had posted  my answers on the blog, 8 Alhamdulillah  I was not the last.                                                                                                                                 

 Ooh yaaa… My estimation about listening and learning I felt  pleasant because the network very good. Although, made me unpleasant when studied is there were many people noisy in the front of the classroom.  The situation in the classroom there were many people focus and unfocus because there were play BBM, FB,  ect.                                          

 I had studied about  listening  and learning in e-listening class. I thought this method very good because I got many exeprience and knowledge. If I get lesson  like this, I want to study serious and always keep spirit. After that, I will  invited of the many people for study like this. But when I  invite someone for study like this, I want to study in the good place in the order that have fun. Thanks… and Wassalam
